Dego Mc Farlane (4hero) & Kaidi Tatham (Bugz In The Attic) stepped on the scene 5 years ago with a collaboration called Silhouette Brown. Their debut album featured chantuese, Deborah Jordan and songwriting by a broken beat queen, Bembe Segue. With all this musical power working on this one project, magic was made. Finally, a new Silhouette Brown album entitled “Two” is to be released on February 8 on 2000black Records (and I cannot wait!) This time around, the guys have called in the undeniable “sanger”, Lady Alma, to take on the vocal leads. This album is a music lovers sweet dream and one of my personal most anticipated for 2010. -Angela Blanca

Our favorite Philly Radio show, Eavesdrop Radio, does it again with an amazing broken beat throwback episode. This is a nice reminder of the genre - that some of us often forget but love nevertheless. Thanks to Junior and Lil’ Dave for always keeping it fresh.
