As a veteran musician, producer, writer, composer and arranger this cat has been deep in the soul of music for over 10 years working alongside Elton John, Gene Simmons and Mariah Carey to name a few. We’ve been waiting patiently for Mr. Rico’s Reworks Project (Out on LifeNotes Music) with his reinterpretations of inspirational musicians and it is finally upon us! Just confirmed - a label that we have been following called Tokyo Dawn is pretty badass. The German-based label, a tough little music unit established in the mid 90s by Marc Wallowy and friends has been quietly publishing music via the internerts since inception. Back in 2009, Tokyo Dawn relaunched together with artists such as Comfort Fit, Portformat, Blaktroniks, Laurent Garnier and Howard Marks, TDR has successfully continued developing it’s futuristic but soulful sound signature.
