We were put on to Trap Arnold today we visited Soulection Radio in Long Beach to join special guest K15 (London) and Joe Kay. This song literally blew one of the speakers in the studios and then we were all in love.
Berlin-based Project Mooncircle label collective has been putting out some amazingly unique tunes for quite some time now. Bringing to light artists like fLako, 1000 Names and Daisuke Tanabe (who made Minty’s Most Epic of 2011) to name a few – we’re always on the lookout new sounds voa PMC. Making some serious noise [and recently appearing in XLR8R] is Project Mooncircle’s latest release from Japan-based Submerse, with a preview of “Pressure” from the forthcoming Tears EP which just so happens to be badass. It’s on that ethereal, minimal yet danceable and slightly trill tip.

The Soulection fam is back at it - this time with their 15th release (yup!) on the label with Viriginia’s own LAKIM. Seamlessly and effortlessly clean bass and soul infusions are really the only ways to characterize his music without painting a picture of something too far removed from his sound. Lakim describes the Esoteric project as “tapping into a new sound” and “trying different styles out” that very can explain but once you listen to it, you’ll understand it’s beauty.
